Luckey Farmers recently hosted the Seneca Conservation District’s Nutrient Bus Tour. Attendees from all backgrounds including farmers, educators, students and Farm Bureau members gathered for a full-day learning experience regarding the nutrients flowing into the Western Lake Erie Basin (WLEB) and how they affect Lake Erie algal blooms.
When the bus pulled into the Luckey Farmers Graytown Agronomy Center, Andy Swerlein, Luckey Farmers’ CEO, and many Luckey Farmers employees were on-hand to showcase the state of the art facility. Attendees were able to tour the facility and Andy discussed how Luckey Farmers provides our customers with the products and services they need while maintaining environmentally-sound agronomy practices.
