Luckey Farmers is offering our Average Price Contract (APC) for the upcoming 2021 Corn and Soybean harvest. We believe this program allows for a non-emotional approach to forward contracting and our results have performed well eight out of the past ten years. Although last fall’s rally did not allow our 2020 APC contract to perform like most years, we still believe it is a disciplined approach for producers to utilize as part of a new crop marketing plan.
The minimum bushels to enroll in this program is 1,800 bushels per commodity and we recommend you commit no more than 15-20% of your anticipated production.
Our APC prices your fall bushels in equal quantities each Thursday between March 4, 2021, and July 1, 2021. After the 18-week pricing period, you will receive a final contract reflecting all pricing, dates, and final average price. Luckey Farmers will charge a $.01/bu. service fee for administering this contract.
