Corn denting and maturity came in at 86% and 34% complete. US corn harvest was pegged at 7% done, slightly behind the average of 11%. Ohio corn is up one point at 62% g/e with the crop being 82% dented and 27% mature.
Soybean quality rating dropped one point to 59% g/e and 41% of the crop has dropped leaves.
The initial soybean harvest came in at 4% complete, right in line with the five year average. Ohio soybeans condition report came up two for the week at 58% g/e, with 34% of the state’s crop dropping leaves.
The winter wheat crop is 13% planted nationwide, just behind the five year average of 15%.
