Corn doughing came in at 96% complete, denting at 75% and crop maturity at 21%. US initial corn harvest was pegged at 5% complete. Ohio’s crop condition came in up two, at 61% g/e with the crop being 69% dented and 16% mature.
The national soybean crop progress came in down a point on the week at 60% good/excellent, with 22% dropping leaves. Ohio’s soybean conditions came in unchanged at 56% g/e and is 19% complete dropping leaves, well behind the average of 27%.
