Luckey Farmers, Inc. was a host for the Anhydrous Ammonia Safety Workshop training program for 2019. The workshop took place at our Bradner location on Wednesday, February 13 and was put on by the Ohio Agribusiness Association’s (OABA) Safety & Risk Management subcommittee. The OABA designed a workshop that would help attendees become more aware of the chemical properties, proper handling, cautions and hazards when working with anhydrous ammonia, equipment, and containment. The training featured experts from both within and outside of the agricultural industry, including individuals from the Ohio Department of Agriculture, Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Ohio Public Utilities Commission. The safety of our employees and customers is our number one priority. We were honored to host a workshop that can help educate our employees to ensure everyone’s safety.
