This time of the year the majority of crops are not in the ground. This does not mean that the weather isn’t currently playing a vital role in our 2021 growing season. The USDA gives monthly reports on our growing conditions December-March rather than the weekly report.

  • 1% poor
  • 26% fair 
  • 57% good 
  • 15% excellent 

Statewide average temperature:

  • 33.4 degrees Fahrenheit 
  • 1.7 degrees above average

Statewide precipitation:

  • 2.26 inches 
  • 0.66 inches below normal
